Sammy a painter from Devon, UK.

 

Sammys second series of 2022 is in progress after the sell out success of her premier artwork collection 'Happy' based around life in the pandemic. The Second Series - Outlier based around a nomadic lifestyle of the Wild West Outlaws and always being on the periphery of society.

Sammys third series  of paintings Zephyr inspired by her love of the Ocean and local boats the cheerful nature of these visions and large naive shapes invoke positive summer imagery.

Sammy has been a Design Director and Textile Designer for the past 16+ years working for some of the biggest names in the apparel and sports industry such as Adidas, Quiksilver, NBA, Olympics, Team GB, Johnathon Saunders, Xcel Wetsuits and Fat Face. 

Following her love of design and the ocean living for some time in Oregon USA, Biarritz France and Byron Bay. Sammy has now returned home to Devon to raise her young daughter and paint full time.

Working with fabric and textile design has long has emphasised her love for texture through application its kinship to colour application.
